Douzono Tsugumi, who works for a major electrical manufacturer, spends her vacation at her mother's home in the country. Her grandmother soon passes away after being hospitalized and Tsugumi decides to continue living in her grandmother's house. One day, a mysterious older gentleman shows up holding the key to a detached room, and despite not fully comprehending the relationship he had with her grandmother, they begin living together.
